Bio

My name is Aramis Lopez. I am a credentialed K-12 language educator with over 16 years of experience teaching students from the elementary level through college. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of approaches—from traditional grammar and translation to full immersion—and now specialize in teaching through Comprehensible Input and the Nature Method, which consistently lead to deeper understanding and lasting fluency. I am completing a PhD in Classics and teach Latin, Ancient Greek, and Spanish, bringing both scholarly depth and practical classroom expertise to every lesson. I speak several languages, including French, Catalan, and German, and grew up in Spain, where I experienced firsthand how powerful true immersion can be. My teaching is shaped by that experience: language learning should feel natural, engaging, and genuinely rewarding.
